FLEX360 ROUTE MARKER FEATURES
HDPE SHEATH AND PU HINGE
- With almost two decades of proven performance in Australia, the Flexi360 is an exceptional impact recovery product due to its unique polymer sheath and hinge design.
- The product is designed to self-align to a vertical position after sustaining severe impacts from vehicles in any direction, thus always maintaining road safety.
- Manufactured in Australia, the sheaths are blow moulded premium grade high density polyethylene and the hinges are injection moulded polyurethane. Both polymers are blended with premium grade masterbatch and UV stabiliser for unrivalled performance in all Australian conditions.
- The assembled post height is 1m. Available in a range of colours to suit any application.
GRAPHICS AND DECALS
- The sign recesses of the Flexi360 Route Marker can fit two 150mm circular signs or a 150x300mm rectangular sign.
- Graphics and decals are customisable on engineer grade vinyl and retroreflective film.
SURFACE MOUNT
- Flexi360 products have surface mount base options for hard pavement installations.
- The 200mm polyurethane surface mount base is a popular non-metallic option for cycleways and can be installed using epoxy and/or bolts.
- Bolt down steel surface mount plates also available for raised curbs.
GROUND ANCHOR
- Flexi360 products have driveable steel anchors for medium and hard ground installation.
- Slide the post’s receptor plate onto the ground anchor and crimp the end of the receptor to firmly secure the post to the anchor.
- Simply uncrimp the receptor plate to remove the post from the anchor – ideal for alternating route marker posts for seasonal sports (e.g. skiing and mountain bike trails).

GROUND ANCHOR
Perfect for unsealed roads and rural environments, the Flexi360 products have drivable steel anchors for medium and hard ground installation and are driven directly into the ground or road base using manual or mechanical drivers.
SURFACE MOUNT
Engineered for concrete surfaces such as bridges, tunnels, and barriers, the Flexi360 products have surface mount base options for hard pavement installations. Easily installed with a polyurethane surface mount and base with bolts and adhesive.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Delnorth Steel-Flex ® is a patented flexible steel delineator post. Steel-Flex may be surface mounted into concrete with secure anti vandal fasteners. Steel-Flex ® is capable of withstanding repeated impacts and wheel overs by vehicles with minimal damage to the post or vehicle. Steel-Flex ® roadside delineator posts comply with:
British & European Standard E N 12899 – 3:2008 & Australian Standard AS 1742.2 and AS/NZ 1906.1
Steel-Flex ® can retain a minimum of 75% of colour, appearance and physical properties for 10 years even when exposed to extreme weather conditions. They are fire resistant and the powder coating can withstand temperatures of up to 140°C.
Steel-Flex ® flexible steel delineator posts stand vertical when installed. Testing has shown that the post will not deflect more than 35mm when subjected to wind speeds of 45m / sec. (162 kph) on the front face (convex surface) of the post.
The load required to bend each post length of 1000mm long to an angle of 90° should not be less than 30N. It only requires 5kg pressure to bend a Steel-Flex ® post.
Steel-Flex delineator posts return to vertical automatically after repeated vehicle impacts. They have been tested to 10 impacts from a passenger type vehicle at 100 kph without compromising the integrity of the post. It has been tested to ten wheel over’s at 50kph from a fully laden 42 tonne truck without compromising the integrity of the post.
